Challenge Cup Second Round Draw

The City Security Services Southern Challenge Cup second round draw has been made, with Wimborne Town FC welcoming Poole Town FC to the KoolPak Stadium.

Wimborne Town FC reached the Second Round after a 2-0 home victory over Weymouth FC, with first half goals from Louis Kellaway and Rhys Owen enough to progress. This was the fourth time we had faced Weymouth, still sitting top of the league, at this stage of the competition, losing on all three previous occasions.

This will be the third time this season we face local rivals Poole Town FC, with our Second Round fixture being scheduled for the evening of Tuesday 13th November. Whilst the majority of Second Round fixtures will be played the week commencing 5th November, Poole Town FC are in County Cup action.
