PREVIEW: Hendon FC V Wimborne Town FC

Wimborne Town FC make the trip to the Silver Jubilee Park stadium tomorrow as they look to continue their good form and make it three wins in a row.

Matty’s men will travel high in confidence having moved out of the relegation zone by winning their last two games, after losing four of their previous five prior to last Saturday’s 5-0 demolition of Kings Langley. The Magpies are winless on the road this season in all competitions, despite encouraging displays returning just the one point away from home.

Hendon FC are high flyers in the league, just four points behind early leaders Weymouth FC, though with two games in hand. Their only defeat this season did come at home, a 4-2 defeat to Harrow Borough.

Manager Matty Holmes…

“They are up there for a reason so it is going to be tough for us. They are a physical side and play with a high temp so it is going to be a challenge.

We want to try to get our first away win of the season. We have momentum with two home wins under our belt and there is a bit of belief in the squad. We are trying to play some good football so let’s see what happens.”
