PREVIEW: Wimborne Town FC V Bideford AFC

Festive football continues to come thick and fast for the Magpies as attention turns to the next round of the City Security Services League Challenge Cup.

Wimborne have previously overcome both Weymouth FC and Poole Town FC at the KoolPak stadium and will be looking to win their eight consecutive home game in all competitions. The Magpies have scored eight goals in their last three fixtures, with goals coming from across the team. Luke Burbidge scored in all three of last weeks games, Rhys Owen bagged another scorcher midweek, James Stokoe got his second goal of the season in the fightback against Salisbury, whilst unlikely goal scorer Stefan Penny found the back of the net as we beat Shaftesbury on Tuesday.

Bideford AFC sit in 15th position in the Evo Stik Division South and have lost their previous five games in the league. They overcame Tiverton Town 5-2 away from home in the last round and Street FC 2-1 on the road before that, to set up this cup tie.
