Harry Rodda signs for Chelsea

The club are delighted to hear the news that our Youth Development player Harry Rodda has accepted a place in Chelsea’s academy. Following a successful trial period.

Those that have been following our Reserve team and our recent successful run in the FA Youth Cup will have noticed Harry’s performances. Harry’s performances particularly in the FA Youth Cup, saw him scouted and become known to Chelsea. Who have been in contact with us and Harry since.

Matty Holmes, Head of our Development Centre, has been quick to express his pleasure in hearing the news. “It’s great news for Harry to be joining Chelsea until the end of season, it’s a wonderful opportunity. From a development and academy perspective it is a real positive that our players are getting notice and testament to all our coaching staff”.
