We’re delighted to announce the signing of full back Drew Eccott-Young from Dorchester Town.
Drew first came to notice whilst at Eastleigh Elite Development Side, where he made a move to join Tim Sills at Hamworthy United. During his time at Hamworthy Drew was voted the Young player of the season. Last season saw Drew make an early season move to Dorchester Town and saw him start 18 matches and 5 appearances from the bench.
We are pleased that we are able to unveil Drew as a Wimborne Magpie ahead of this season!
Manager Tim Sills commented “After losing Oakley, we’ve moved quickly to find a replacement. In Drew we have signed someone with fantastic talent and the hunger to progress. I’ve worked with Drew before and I know he’ll bring the qualities we’ll need for the new season.“
