FA Youth Cup vs AFC Porchester

Wimborne Town’s Academy players put on an impressive display last night against AFC Portchester, beating the visitors 4-0 at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.

Two goals from Luca Lane and one each from Maksym Boichuk and Charlie Middleton capped a fine display from the young Magpies.

A decent crowd watched on as the home side dominated the game with Tom Thorne in the Wimborne Town goal rarely troubled.

A strong performance at the back from captain Jack Copperwaite and Cass White in the centre of defence, with Finlay Richardson showing some great touches in attack.

Wimborne Town first team manager Tim Sills would have been happy watching the young team play some fast attacking football with only the AFC Portchester keeper preventing the score from being double figures.
