We are delighted to announce the signing of Seung-Woo Yang!

The young midfielder started off in the Southampton Academy, before joining Forest Green Rovers, and then joined the Eastleigh Development Squad in 2021 where he went on to make some appearances in the National League.

After a spell on loan at AFC Totton in 2022/23, the South Korean-born Yang spent last season at Sholing and Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

On signing for The Magpies, ‘Sueny’ said: “I’m really excited to be joining Wimborne, coming here today and seeing the ground, it looks like a great set up!

“I can’t wait to get going and play infront of the fans which I know are great. I believe I can help the team achieve our goals this season and I feel ready and better than ever.

“I know the majority of the lads already and also have a good relationship with Luke Hardy which played a big part in me coming here. I also have known about the gaffer for a while and can’t wait to play under him.

“Hopefully we can give the fans something to cheer about this season following on from last year’s success!”

Manager Tim Sills commented: “Sueny is a lad that’s been around this level for a few years now and needs to find his home to really showcase his undoubted ability.

“We’re delighted to make Wimborne his home for this season and hopefully many more to come.”

Welcome to The Magpies, Seuny!
