“The ‘Let’s PITCH In’ campaign is the most important thing to happen to our club since our move to the Wyatt Homes Stadium in 2020. What we hope to do is to find 600 people or businesses who want to help the club secure its financial future by making a pledge of £1000, or by raising £1000, over the next 12-months through fundraising or sponsorship. It’s vitally important that all the people who love the club, and want to see it achieve its full potential, get involved in this campaign. As well as our men’s and women’s first teams, we have over 500 youth team and development centre players. There are thousands of people who are associated with our club on a weekly basis, not forgetting those who may have benefitted from being part of the club in the past, and we are reaching out to you all, to ask for your help and support to make our football club financially sustainable for future generations to come. A FIFA Quality Pro Artificial Playing Surface will create more opportunities for our fast-developing women’s section, and all of our associated youth teams, to be able to play more of their matches at the stadium. We hope this will encourage our future players to feel an integral part of Wimborne Town’s future.”
– Jimmy Glass, General Manager
Wimborne Town Football Club are pleased to launch our ‘Let’s PITCH In’ campaign promotional video! The ‘Let’s PITCH In’ campaign aims to raise funds for the replacement of our current main pitch with a FIFA Quality Pro Artificial Playing Surface for the 26/27 season.
The club is looking to secure its financial sustainability in the coming years and upgrading the main pitch to a FIFA Quality Pro Artificial Playing Surface is the first step on the road to achieving this goal.
A FIFA Quality Pro Artificial Playing Surface will not only generate a new and significant revenue stream, it will also allow us to provide high quality training and match facilities from the grassroots youth section through to our first team.
This campaign has the potential to be the clubs most significant step forward since our move to the Wyatt Homes Stadium.
The support we receive from the local community, business owners and our supporters will be critical, so please get the message out and ‘Let’s PITCH In’ to the clubs future success today.
