We are delighted to announce the signing of Kai Crampton on a one-month youth loan from AFC Bournemouth!

The promising young goalkeeper, who is in the AFC Bournemouth Development Squad, signed for the Cherries in January 2025 after previously coming through the ranks at Chelsea.

Whilst at Chelsea, Kai won the Under-18 Premier League South and the Under-17 Premier League Cup during the 2023/24 season. Kai has also been capped by England at Under-16 and Under-17 level.

On signing for Wimborne, Kai said: “I’m buzzing to join the Magpies for the month on loan – I’m really looking forward to the experience!”

Manager Tim Sills commented: “It’s a real coup to get Kai in to cover Cam while he nurses a shoulder injury.

“I’ve watched a lot of him and know his qualities so it’s important for us to fill such a vital position with someone of this calibre. Huge thanks to AFC Bournemouth for helping this happen.”
