Next up for the Magpies…

The Magpies have to pick theirselves up after a disapointing loss Tuesday night against a spirited Blackfield & Langley side who pinched the match with an 85th minute goal by Mohamed Saadi after Connor Doe received yellow cards on the 40′ and 57′ resulting in a red for an early shower, he will now face suspension for the visit of Taunton Town.

Team manager Matty Holmes has that task to prepare his charges for, last season the matches between the two sides ended up as a 3-2 defeat in October on the Magpies travels while back at the Cuthbury in February it was a share of the points with a 3-3 draw.

Hendon are now into their ninth season under the ownership of its supporters, following their takeover of the club in the summer of 2010. The 2018-19 season is the first time for 55 years that the club haven’t played in the top division of the Isthmian League, having been transferred across to the Southern League.

Also playing at Silver Jubilee Park are Edgware Town FC who play in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
