Next up for the Magpies… The Stags

The Magpies aim to bounce back from the Bank Holiday weekend defeats against Taunton Town 3-0 and Poole Town 3-1 this coming Saturday afternoon against Walton Casuals at the J & B’s Stadium, Cuthbury. The Stags have started off badly with an away 3-2 defeat at Swindon Supermarine before three home losses on the bounce 2-1 against Harrow Brough, 3-1 against Tiverton Town and finally 2-0 against Farnborough.

The Stags from Walton-On-Thames, Surrey were formed in 1948 owing its early origins to members of the Armed Forces. The club moved into the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub, a £20 million sports complex built on the site of the Waterside Stadium, for the 2017–18 season and enjoyed great success in their opening year.

Meanwhile, our FA Cup opponents were drawn earlier today, we face a long trip to Cornwall to tackle Truro City on Saturday 7th September where the winners will receive £4500 and the losing team will receive £1500. Full details of the travel details on the tem coach to Treyew Road will be published shortly.
