Wimborne Town Development Centre was set up in 2020 and is aimed towards high ability players looking to further progress and develop.

 

The Centre is designed to attract players from all local clubs and is a player pathway away from the local grass roots football clubs. It will not interfere playing with your Sunday club as our fixtures are on Saturdays in the JPL.

 

At the end of every season players will be given a review by the coaching staff and squads reselected for the season ahead.

 

Player pathway from our Development Centre (U10-U16) can lead to our Academy which offers places for Scholars gaining BTEC qualifications and potentially playing in U18 SW Counties, UK Alliance Youth League, DPL, Reserves, Wimborne Town FC first team.

 

The Development Centre offers a Full Programme or Training Programme to successful trialists with these positions constantly monitored.

 

Our coaches at the centre are carefully selected and have a wealth of experience ranging from working in pro clubs to former first team head coaches to ensure that development is always the main focus for our players.

 

Trials can be requested by either contact below. Please be aware spaces are limited and the centre is a competitive environment for those spaces.
